Man dies after being shot in 'road rage' incident in Hardin County | Crime
ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - The victim of a road rage shooting in Hardin County has died three weeks after being shot at a gas station. The Jefferson County Deputy Coroner says Su Hong Springer of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died May 9.
Springer was shot April 17th at a 5-Star gas station on east Dixie Highway in Elizabethtown. Police say it happened after a van tailgated an SUV on I-65.
According to police, the driver of the van followed the SUV to the gas station, and then someone in the van waved a gun. That's when a passenger in the SUV fired and hit Springer.
The case has been sent to the Hardin County Grand Jury.
